1. From the home screen, press the Right soft key.
   
2. Scroll to the 'Settings' icon, then press the Center nav key.
   
3. Scroll to 'Phone Information', then press the Center nav key.
   
4. The device software version is displayed. Press the Right soft key to return to the Settings menu.
   
5. To check for software updates, scroll to 'AT&T Software Update', then press the Center nav key
   
6. Select 'Check for Updates', then press the Center nav key and follow on-screen prompts.
