1. From any screen, press and hold the Menu key.
   
2. First time users may see a brief "Google Now" tutorial. Tap NEXT.
   Note: For more information Google Now, please visit www.google.com/now.
   
3. Tap the desired option.
   
4. To perform a search, tap the Search bar.
   
5. Enter a term or address in the field and then tap a suggestion or the Search icon. Tap the Microphone icon to speak the search term or address.
   
6. Tap the Clear icon to clear the search field.
   
7. Tap the Menu icon to access the Google search settings.
