1. The LED is clear when the device is powered off.
   
2. The LED pulses blue every three seconds when the data connection is ready for use.
   
3. The LED double pulses blue every three seconds when data is transferring (uploading/downloading) on the data connection.
   
4. The LED pulses amber every three seconds when the data connection is not ready or disconnected.
