1. From any screen, swipe down from the notification bar.

2. Tap Settings.
   
3. Tap My Account.
   
4. Tap Register.
   
5. If you already have an Amazon account: Enter the e-mail address and password associated with your Amazon account, and then tap Continue.
   
6. If you do not have an Amazon account: Tap Start here., and then follow the instructions to set up a new account.
   
7. To deregister your device, from Settings, tap Deregister.
   
8. Tap Deregister.
