Bluetooth

Turn Bluetooth on or off, scan and connect to other Bluetooth devices, and unpair a connected device.

  1. From the home screen, drag down from the Notification bar.

  2. Tap the Settings icon.

  3. Swipe to the CONNECTIONS tab, then tap Bluetooth.

  4. Tap the Bluetooth switch to toggle Bluetooth connectivity on/off.
    Note: To optimize battery life, turn Bluetooth off when not in use.

  5. When Bluetooth is enabled, the Bluetooth icon will display in the notification bar.

  6. The phone will automatically scan for nearby Bluetooth devices. To scan again, tap SCAN.

  7. To connect to another Bluetooth device, tap the desired device.

  8. If prompted, confirm the passkey, then tap OK.
    Note: You may be prompted to enter a passcode (common default passcode is 0000).

  9. To disconnect from a paired device, tap the Settings icon next to the desired device.
    Note: If having trouble pairing/unpairing your device with your vehicle, please refer to your vehicle's user manual for additional information."

  10. Tap Unpair.

  11. To quickly toggle Bluetooth on/off, drag down from the Notification bar, then tap Bluetooth.
