1. Locate the battery cover on the back of the device.
   
2. Use a coin or other object inserted in the slot on the back cover and turn it counter-clockwise to the unlocked position.
   
3. Remove the cover by pulling from the cover release notch.
   
4. Insert the Micro-SIM card by sliding it into the slot, ensuring that its gold contacts are facing down.
   
5. Align the microSD card (sold separately) with the slot appropriately, then slide it into place.
   Note: To prevent data corruption, it is recommended to unmount your memory card before removing it. To unmount your memory card, tap Settings > More > Storage > Unmount SD Card. SD cards are sold separately.
   
6. Align the battery appropriately by matching up its gold contacts with the device's gold contacts.
   
7. Push down on the battery until it fits securely.
   
8. Push down on the battery cover until it 'clicks' into place.
   
9. Use a coin or other object to turn the lock clockwise to the locked position.
   
10. If a SIM card is not in the phone the home screen will display Insert SIM.
