1. From the home screen, press the Left Soft key.
   
2. Scroll to Settings, then press the Center Nav key.
   
3. Scroll to Security, then press the Center Nav key.
   
4. Scroll to Phone Lock, then press the Center Nav key.
   
5. Press the Left Soft key.
   
6. Enter the desired password in the New Password field, then press the Left Soft key.
   
7. Re-enter the password in the Confirm Password field, then press the Left Soft key.
   
8. To disable the lock, scroll to Phone Lock then press the Center Nav key.
   
9. Enter the phone password from above, then press the Left Soft key.
