1. Tap the Start icon or Windows button.
   
2. To view the current software version and check for updates, tap Settings.
   
3. Tap System.
   
4. Tap About. You will now be able to view which version of Windows your device is running.
   
5. To update your phone’s OS, from the Start screen, swipe from right to left to access the ACTION CENTER, then tap All settings.
   
6. Tap Update & security.
   
7. Tap Windows Update.
   Note: To see if there is an update available for your device, check att.com/software updates.
   
8. Tap Install now.
   
9. Tap Restart now.
