1. ACCESS MESSAGING SETTINGS: From the home screen, select the Messages app. Select the Menu icon, then select Settings.

  2. ADJUST NOTIFICATIONS: Select Notifications, then select the Notifications switch to turn notifications on or off.

  3. Select Sound. Select the desired sound, then select OK.

    Note: In order to change the message notification sound, sound must be enabled. From the Notifications screen, select Importance then select High or Urgent.

  4. CHANGE FONT SIZE: From the home screen, swipe down from the Notification bar > select the Settings icon > Display > Advanced > Font size > select and drag the Font size slider left or right to adjust the font size as desired.

  5. EMERGENCY ALERTS: From the Messages app, select the Menu icon > Settings > Advanced SMS/ MMS settings > Wireless emergency alerts > Menu icon > Settings > edit Emergency alert settings as desired.
