1. Select Menu and then Settings.
   
2. Select Display. 
   
3. To adjust the display time out, select Backlight Timer. 
   
4. Press the Right or Left Navigation keys to choose the backlight timer duration. Select OK.
   
5. To adjust the brightness, select Brightness from the Display menu.
   
6. Press the Right or Left Navigation keys to choose between the 5 brightness settings. Select OK.
