Take a Picture or Video

Take screenshots, edit a picture or video, use the front and rear camera, and switch between camera and video modes.

INSTRUCTIONS & INFO

To access the Camera, swipe to the left for the Apps list.
Note: You can also access the camera via the Action center and the Apps list
Select the Camera app.
To take a picture, select the Camera icon.
To zoom in while taking a photo, with two fingers together on the screen, move fingers apart.
To zoom out while taking a photo, with two fingers on either side the screen, move fingers together.
To focus the camera while taking a photo, select desired portion of the photo to be focused on. A square will appear on the screen indicating that the camera is focusing.
To switch between the front and rear facing cameras, select the Switch Camera icon.
To take a video, select the Video icon.
To start recording, select the Video icon.
To end the recording, select the Stop icon.
To review the footage you recorded, select the Clip icon.
This device has a 13MP rear camera and a HD 5MP front facing camera. The video recorder is 1080p.
Note: To take a screen shot, press and hold the Volume Up and Power buttons at the same time until you see the text “Saving to Screenshots” on the top side of the screen. To view captured screen shots select the Photos tile or navigate to the default storage location for new photos set in storage sense (settings > storage sense.)
