- To lock or unlock your device screen, press the Power/Lock button.
- To set security lock type, swipe down from the Notification bar with two fingers, then select the Settings icon.
- Scroll to the Personal section, then select Security.
- Select Screen lock.
- Select the Desired screen lock type and follow prompts to complete set up.
Note: For this demonstartion "PIN" was selected
- Enter New password/PIN and select CONTINUE. Confirm Password/PIN, then select OK.
- To adjust the screen time out settings, from settings, select Display > Sleep > Select Desired screen timeout option.
- When opening your device, you will now be required to enter your PINÂ in order to unlock the device. Enter your PIN then select the Checkmark icon.
- To change the Desired security lock type, from the Settings menu, scroll to the Personal section and select Security > Screen lock > select the Desired lock type.
