Battery Life

Tips and tricks to extend your battery performance.


INSTRUCTIONS & INFO
  1. To determine what services are consuming the most power, swipe down from the Notification bar with two fingers and select the Settings icon.
  2. Scroll to the Device tab, then select Battery.
  3. Select the Desired app that is consuming significant battery life.
  4. Select FORCE STOP to close the app.
  5. You can prolong battery life with phone modes that save power. From the Battery window, select Battery saver.
  6. Toggle Battery saver On to conserve the device's battery.
  7. To adjust screen brightness, swipe down from the Notification bar with two fingers and slide the Slider to the left or right.
  8. To adjust screen time out, select the Settings icon > Display Sleep to set to a shorter duration.
  9. Turn off Bluetooth and Wi-Fi when not in use.
    Note: Swipe down from the Notification bar with two fingers and select the corresponding icons.
  10. Turn off Location services.
    Note: Swipe down from the Notification bar with two fingers and select the corresponding icons.
  11. Turn off the Auto-update apps feature in the Play Store.
    Note: To access, from the home screen, select Play Store > select the Menu icon > select Settings > select Auto-update apps.
  12. If you are traveling and do not have access to mobile or Wi-Fi networks, switch to Airplane mode.
    Note: Swipe down from the Notification bar with two fingers and select the Airplane mode icon.
  13. Turn off live wallpapers.
    Note: Touch and hold an empty part of the screen > WALLPAPERS.
  14. This phone’s maximum talk time is 28 hours and standby time is 14 days.
