1. ADJUST RING VOLUME: Press the Volume up button or Volume down button on the top of the device to adjust volume as desired.
    Note: Alternately, you can use the keyboard shortcuts FN + F6, FN + F7, and FN + F8 to adjust volume as desired. To learn more about keyboard shortcuts, visit the Gesture & motion tutorial.

  2. ACTIVATE SILENT MODE: Press the Volume down button until the Silent mode icon appears.

  3. When Silent mode is activated, the Silent  mode icon will display in the Taskbar.

  4. ACCESS ADDITIONAL VOLUME SETTINGS: Select the Start icon, then select the Settings icon.
