App Troubleshooting

Clear the app cache, force stop an app, check for updates, remove an app, and reinstall an app.

  1. CLEAR APP CACHE: Swipe down from the Notification bar, then select the Settings icon.

  2. Select Apps, then select the desired app.

  3. Select Storage.

  4. Select CLEAR CACHE.

  5. FORCE STOP AN APP: From the App info screen of the desired app, select FORCE STOP. Select FORCE STOP to confirm.

  6. CHECK FOR APP UPDATE: From the Play Store app, select the Menu icon then select My apps & games.

    Note: From the home screen, select the Play Store app to access the Play Store.

  7. Select UPDATE next to the desired app. Select UPDATE ALL to download all available app updates.

  8. REMOVE AN APP: From the desired app page, select UNINSTALL. Select OK to confirm.

  9. REINSTALL AN APP: From the desired app page, select INSTALL to reinstall.
