Access and use Google Assistant

1. Select the microphone icon Microphone icon on the home screen to access Google Assistant.

2. Say the desired search term(s) when "Try saying..." is on screen. To type your question, select the keyboard icon.

Access Google Assistant settings


After about ten seconds, the initial Google Assistant screen will prompt you with popular actions. From this screen, select the Account icon. Edit settings as desired.

Access Hold for me


If a business puts you on hold, Google Assistant can wait on the line for you and let you know when someone is ready to talk. Visit Call Features for information on how to enable Hold for me.
