Sending a text
Compose and send a standard SMS message with your device's text messaging app. You can send a text message to an individual or a group.
1.
From the Message app, tap the New message icon.

Select the contact.
3.
Select your input method.
For this tutorial, we're typing a message with the on-screen keyboard. You can also dictate a message, or select a quick response.
4.
Enter your message.
5.
When you finish composing your message, tap the Send icon.
6.
Tap the Send icon again.
7.
You've completed the steps!
