Wi-Fi Security

In this tutorial, you will learn how to:

• Change Wi-Fi network security

• Set Wi-Fi network password

Change Wi-Fi network security

1. From your device’s web browser, go to http://attwifi.manager or http://192.168.1.1. Enter your password, then click Login.

Note: Ensure that your device is connected to your 5G Gateway's Wi-Fi network. For more information, please see the Connect Devices to Wi-Fi or Connect PC or Mac to Wi-Fi tutorials. If this is your first time logging into the Web admin page, the default password will be ‘admin’. You may be prompted to change the admin password.

2. Click the Network drop-down menu on the left side of the screen, then click Wi-Fi.

3. Scroll to and click the Security Setting drop-down icon.

4. Click the desired option, then click Save.

Set Wi-Fi network password

From the Wi-Fi screen, enter the desired password then click Save.

Note: The 5G Gateway network Authentication Method must be set to WPA/WPA2-PSK, WPA2-PSK, WPA2/WPA3 or WPA3 to utilize a password.
