1. To send messages using AT&T Messages, from the home screen, select the Apps icon.
   
2. Scroll to and select Messages.
   
3. Select the New message icon.
   
4. From the recipient field, enter desired contact(s).
   
5. Type your message in the Write a message field, then select the Send icon.
   
6. To send an attachment, select the Plus icon, and then navigate to the desired file.
   
7. Select the Send icon.
   
8. When you receive an SMS, a message drops down from the Notification bar. To view message, select the Message box.
   
9. To delete a message, select and hold the desired message, then select Delete. Select Delete again to confirm.
   
10. To delete a conversation thread, touch and hold the desired conversation thread, then select Delete. Select Delete again to confirm.
    
11. To view an attachment, select the attachment.
    
12. To save an attachment, from the message thread, select and hold the attachment.
    
13. Select Download.
    
14. To forward a message, select and hold the desired message.
    
15. Select Forward.
    
16. Enter desired contact into the recipient field.
    
17. Select the Send icon.
