1. To toggle screen rotation lock, from the Start screen, swipe down from the notification bar.
   
2. Tap ROTATION LOCK to turn ROTATION LOCK on or off.
   
3. When Rotation lock is disabled, screen content will rotate with the device.
   
4. To change the screen timeout, from the Start screen, swipe left.
   
5. Scroll to, then tap Settings.
   
6. Scroll to, then tap lock screen.
   
7. Tap the Screen times out after field.
   
8. Tap the desired option.
   
9. To change the screen brightness, from the Start screen, swipe left.
   
10. Scroll to, then tap Settings.
    
11. Scroll to, then tap brightness.
    
12. Tap the Automatically adjust switch.
    
13. Tap the Level field.
    
14. Tap the desired option.
