1. From the home screen, tap the Text Messages.
   
2. Tap the Menu icon.
   
3. Tap Settings.
   
4. To change the Notification settings, tap Display and Actions.
   
5. Scroll to, then tap Interactive Lock Screen Notification Settings.
   
6. Tap the Lock Screen Notifications switch to turn it on or off.
   
7. To change the message center number, from the settings menu, scroll to, tap Text Messages.
   
8. Tap the Settings icon.
   
9. Tap the Service Center Address field, then enter the desired number.
   
10. Tap the Save icon.
    
11. To change the Emergency alert settings, from the settings menu, tap Emergency Alerts.
    
12. Tap to adjust the settings as desired, then press the Back icon.
