1. From the home screen, press the Right Soft key.
   
2. Select Settings, then press the Center Nav key.
   
3. Scroll to and select Security Settings, then press the Center Nav key.
   
4. To enable phone password, select Lock Settings, then press the Center Nav key.
   
5. Select Phone Password, then press the Center Nav key.
   
6. Enter the required password, then press the Center Nav key.
   Note: The default lock code is '0000.'
   
7. To change the password, press the Right Soft key.
   
8. Select Change Codes, then press the Center Nav key.
   
9. Select Phone Password, then press the Center Nav key.
   
10. Enter the current password, then press the Center Nav key.
    Note: The default lock code is '0000.'
    
11. Enter the desired new password, then press the Center Nav key.
    
12. Re-enter the password, then press the Center Nav key.
    
13. Press the Center Nav key to confirm.
