1. To access the text & picture message settings screen, from the home screen, select the Messenger icon.
   
2. Select the Menu icon.
   
3. Select Settings.
   
4. To turn notification alerts on and off, select Get notifications.
   
5. To change the notification sound, select Notification sound and follow the prompts to choose a ringtone.
   
6. To view or change your Wireless Emergency Alerts or AMBER alerts, from the Messaging settings screen, select Advanced.

7. Select Wireless alerts.
   
8. Select the Menu icon.
   
9. Select Settings.
   
10. Adjust settings as desired.
