Get details on the Connected Life Return Policy

You can only return items that have been purchased from the AT&T Connected Life site or your AT&T Connected Life account. You have 30 days after your equipment is delivered to return it.

What to know about returns:

  • Only items purchased directly from the AT&T Connected Life site or your AT&T Connected Life account are eligible to be returned. You can’t return items purchased from third-party retailers.

  • Connected Life device kits must be returned as a complete kit.

    • Starter kit: Security hub, Google Nest Doorbell, motion sensor, door or window sensors (2)

    • Advanced kit: Security hub, Google Nest Doorbell, Google Nest Cam, key fob, keypad, motion sensors (2), door or window sensors (4)

  • Add-on items purchased through the AT&T Connected Life site or your AT&T Connected Life account can be returned individually and don’t need to be returned as part of a kit.

    • Eligible for return: Google Nest Cams, Google Nest Doorbells, door or window sensors, motion sensors, keypad, key fob

    • Not eligible for return: Yard signs, stickers

Items you’re returning should include all cords, adapters, mounting plates, components, and included documentation to get a refund in accordance with the terms listed in this policy.

  • Refunds will be issued to your original form of payment. Please allow up to five days from our receipt of the return for the refund to process.

  • If you’re returning equipment and no longer want to continue with your monthly service plan, make sure you also cancel your service. If you cancel within 30 days, you’ll also be refunded for the service plan.

Start a return

To return your devices:

  1. Sign into your Connected Life account.

  2. Locate your order and select Start a return request.

  3. Follow the prompts to complete your request.

After you submit the request, you’ll get an email with a return label. Make sure you ship the equipment to return within 14 days of receiving your return label.

Devices cannot be returned to an AT&T branded store.

Replace an incorrect device

If you think you received the wrong device, contact the Abode support team for Connected Life within 30 days of receiving your order. Your order will be reviewed to confirm devices you purchased. If you received the wrong devices, they’ll be exchanged with the correct ones at no additional cost. Your shipping cost to send back the wrong device will also be covered.
