Child tablet's initial setup
Tap Start.
Here you can change your locale and accessibility settings.
Tap Skip.
You can also choose to setup this device with options listed.
Select your Wi-Fi network, enter its password, then tap CONNECT.
Enter your Google account's email, then tap Next.
It is recommended to create a new Gmail account rather than using a personal one to prevent personal content from appearing on the Jr Tab 2. To create a new Gmail account tap Create account and follow the steps.
Enter your Google account's password, then tap Next again.
Tap I agree.
Enter a PIN number, then tap Next.
Re-enter your PIN number, then tap Confirm.
Tap Don't copy.
To copy apps and data from your Google accounts, tap Next and follow the onscreen prompts.
Tap Next.
Tap Skip.
For this tutorial, we're skipping the Face Unlock setup, but we recommend using it to increase the security of your device.
Scroll to the bottom of the screen, then tap Accept.
Tap Don't back up.
Scroll to the bottom of the screen, then tap No thanks.
Tap Next.
Tap No thanks.
Tap No thanks again.
Select your child's location, then tap Next.
Select your age range, then tap Next again.
Tap Next.
If the amiGO app setup did not popup, tap the amiGO app on the Home screen to start the setup.
Tap Enable Web Protection.
Select amiGO, then tap Set as default.
Tap Enable App Control.
Select amiGO, then tap Set as default.
Tap Next.
Tap Activate Device Admin App.
Tap Activate this device admin app.
Tap Allow Protection.
Tap amiGO.
Tap or slide the Use amiGO toggle to ON.
Tap Allow.
Tap the Back icon.
Tap the Back icon again.
Tap Allow Permissions.
Tap While using the app.
Tap While using the app again.
Tap Allow.
Tap Allow again.
Tap Allow all.
Tap Allow All the Time.
Tap Allow all the time again.
Tap the Back icon.
Tap Next.
Tap Next again.
You will need to download and setup the amiGO app on the parent's device.
From the amiGO app on the parent's device, scan this QR code and enter the activation code to pair the device.
From the amiGO app on the parent's device, tap the Menu icon.
Tap Devices.
Tap Add device.
Select which device you'd like to add.
For this tutorial, we are adding a AT&T amiGO Jr. Tab.
Enter the your child's information, then tap Next.
Align the parent's device with the child's tablet to capture the QR code.
You can tap Enter Code Manually to enter the IMEI from your child's tablet.
Enter the code shown on your child's tablet, then tap Next.
Tap Skip.
Tap Finish.
To finish setup on your child's device, tap Start.
Scroll through the features, then tap Close.
