Tap the Outage alert Push Notification to open the Smart Home Manager app.
This could also be a text message or email depending on what is enabled on your device, available, and what information has been provided to AT&T.
From the Home tab, tap Learn more from the We found a service outage For You card.
Tap Let's go.
You can also get to the next step by tapping Lets go on the “Stay connected with Internet Backup” For You card
Toca Enable.
Tap the I have read... checkbox to agree to the terms.
Swipe to enable Internet Backup.
If the customer has not accepted permissions when they first downloaded the Smart Home Manager app they might need to allow push notifications.
