Configura tu central de seguridad de Connected Life

Actualizado hace más de 3 meses

Learn how to set up your AT&T Connected Life security hub and understand its status lights.

Open your kit

In the Connected Life kit, you'll find the security hub, an Ethernet cable, a power adapter, and various security devices, depending on which kit you purchased. To set up the security hub:

1. Remove the security hub, Ethernet cable, and AC power adapter from your kit. Be sure to keep the activation card that comes with your security hub. It has the key to link your account to the device and to launch your Connected Life profile

2. Download the AT&T Connected Life app from the App store or Google Play. It will walk you through the steps to set up your security hub and devices.

1. Battery backup switch

2. SIM card slot
3. Ethernet port
4. Learn/pair button
5. Power jack

Set up your hub

Follow the onboarding steps in the Connected Life app to walk you through setup.

  1. Remove the device from the box and place it near your WiFi Gateway, All-Fi Hub®, or router.

  2. Plug the power adapter into a wall outlet and into the security hub.

  3. Connect the Ethernet cable to an open port on your gateway or router and plug the other end into the Ethernet port on the back of your security hub. For setup, you must use an Ethernet cable; you can change to Wi-Fi® later.

  4. Locate the switch on the bottom of the security hub and slide it down to turn on the battery backup.

Once set up, place your security hub in a central location for the best connection to all devices and sensors. Ethernet offers the most stable connection, but you can use Wi-Fi if you need to move the security hub to a different area.
