AT&T Store Chandler Az Chandler Festival

Traded in a perfectly good working phone. I have the receipt saying it was working. 6 months later still waiting for the promotional credits. Called every month for 6 months to get this rectified. I was told that the trade-in department received the phone and and it doesn't turn on. They finally told me to go into the store. I did, the manager opened an escalation ticket and I was told to wait 7 business days. I did, called back in, and there was no trace of the escalation. Went back into the store and was told that they are not a corporate store, just recently (as of 2 days) an authorized retailer with no manager on duty. Do not go here if you want any sort of customer service. The over-the-phone customer service isn't helpful either.

AT&T has the worst customer service of I’ve ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I no one from our local store will answer the phone, and no one on the national lines can help. Thanks for nothing

The store manager was rude and dismissive. His name was Johnathan. This locations “about” page says “Jonathan is passionate about delivering an extraordinary customer experience and making sure that our customers know how much they are valued and appreciated.” I assure you the behavior I saw today was not inline with that assessment.

I came in asked for some help with getting an e SIM card in preparation for my new iPhone coming later this week. Without looking at any of my info he told me there was nothing they could do and suggested trying my luck on launch day. After that he went right back to whatever it was he was doing on his computer, totally dismissing me. I asked him another question and he said “we went over that already”.

I left, called 611, and got what I needed. My advice is skip the store, especially Johnathans, and go right to 611.
