Bought 2 new phones back in November 2020. The person that sold them to us said that they didn’t have the particular type of protective screen and case for my phone, and that my phone would be shipped to me soon, but that we got a special discount on them if we bought them that day, and simply exchanged them later.
The phone soon came in. But I got busy, and forgot to take the phone and protective covers in until my old phone finally died.
It died last week so I took it in today.
The clerk told me that since I had waited past the 2 week return period, they couldn’t take them back, nor could they simply exchange the items.
I told the man that nobody told me about their “policy”. I asked to speak to the manager.
The manager came over and was told about our situation. We had receipts. When the manager restated that AT&T’s policy on returns was 2 weeks and that she couldn’t simply take the ones they sold us and give us the right ones, I told her that she was not a manager. She became irritated and said: “I’m a good manager, please don’t insult me”.
I said I wasn’t insulting her, merely stating that in my opinion a manager could be given the authority to give us what we had paid for.
The original salesperson never mentioned any 2 week return policy. We had to pay for a new screen, and cover.

Only reason I’m giving a one is there isn’t a zero they told us that my phone was worth $350 trade in. Took it back the next night and they said it wasn’t worth anything because of the crack.. YOU SEEN IT THE NIGHT BEFORE. If I wouldn’t have to call my old provider and go threw all the steps I would have left the phones there... terrible costumer service... better off just getting straight talk.. I went in with a question and walked out with a new phone & satisfaction that I got a great deal. Vanessa was so patient & helpful. When I asked questions, she was very friendly and never got flustered with the ENDLESS questions I had. I usually prefer to go online but since I had to go into the store, I am glad I got an associate who I feel helped me find the best deal and was willing to go out of her way to help.
