Josh is horrible. I upgraded my mom to a new iPhone. She doesn’t have WiFi and I live out of state. I had her write down the store needed to do a backup and activate using the backup. Josh told her it wasn’t his job to activate her phone. She insisted. He then said she wasn’t connected to iCloud which she clearly is. He then refused to get her a SIM card. He was rude and didn’t even do the bare minimum. It’s been really stressful to try and get her iPhone to where she wanted it over the phone. All he had to do was perform the backup. Minimal effort. Was excited to trade in my IPhone 8 and get the new 12 Pro . Told her I need the most storage , she charged me and I paid for the phone. She then proceeded to put on the new phone case I bought and screen protector and started to transfer my data from my old phone onto the new phone we waited around 10 minutes for that and then she found out the storage on my old phone had more than a new phone. She said oh I assumed it only had a certain amount of gigabytes because it was an eight you’re going to need the bigger iPhone with the more storage I said yes that’s what I wanted she then proceeded to call her manager over who tells me I would have to restock the phone and pay $55. I then explained this wasn’t my fault she assumed and grab the wrong phone the manager Katherine spoke to me as I was in the wrong and had the worst customer service. She then proceeded to tell me they don’t even have that other iPhone in stock so she couldn’t trade it in for me and then tells me it’s after hours now I can’t give you a refund the cash registers closed you’ll have to come back another day. Completely ridiculous and did not feel bad about anything in mostly just blamed it on us like it was our fault so I left the store paying for a phone that I can’t even use and now I’m waiting to hear if they get the new phone in however long that takes plus she’s making me pay a $55 restocking fee I’m so upset I will never go to the store again.Response from AT&TApril 5, 2021Hello Stephanie S. Very disappointed :( We came in because my mom's new phone was having problems with the cellular data not working. We had called previously to tech support and they said nothing was wrong on their end. We went in, the girl changed the sim card but then said the phone was the problem and told us we needed to go to Apple store to get a new phone. We drove an hour away to the Apple store sat with them for over 2 hours lost some data in the meantime, come to find out it was an AT&T problem the whole time and eventually had to call their tech support back to fix the problem. Waste of time. AT&T should have fixed the problem for us in the store instead of having us drive all the way to another city to an Apple store that couldn't even help.Response from AT&TApril 5, 2021Hello Deb, C. One of the worst stores I've been in. Waited 20 minute for a rep. I was the next one to be waited on. The female rep went to someone who came in after me. Waited on her then came to me. By this time I was the last one to be waited on. She asked me if I checked in which they didn't have a sign directing you to. I said no and then she said it would be over an hour and I was the only one in the store who hadn.t been waited on. They must think they have the only store that sells At&t products. Second time I've been there and walked out due to lack of service. Won't be back for sure. Will not recommend for sure. - April 15, 2019
