Awful customer service. They never know anything about anything and always say that’s all we can do for you after you spend hours waiting to be helped, even with an apt. This branch is a joke! I’ve been a long time customer and I’m debating changing providers! I had to pick a star but in reality I wouldn’t have given them that much credit. - November 29, 2021

I did that as soon as I left and spent 2 hours on the phone with AT&T and FirstNet asking questions getting help and cleaning up all the mess that store did!! All the operators after hearing what I needed help with said the store could have helped me!!!!! I felt like Gloria just did not want to deal with upset customers and did not provide good customer service. She wanted just us to leave. Her and the manger were making side comments in Spanish. Not appropriate.
FirstNet also clarified that I could use my original AT&T number that it intact DID NOT REQUIRE ME TO OPEN A NEW LINE JUST TRANSFER MY ATT NUMBER account the the FirstNet service. A very nice operator named Lina worked for a long time on fixing that issue for me. And stated the associate should have asked if I wanted to Keep my number and just have that account switched over.
This store is known for doing things like this. So unprofessional and an unethical way of running a business. Managers as well, they are the ones providing training and allowing for associates to not FULLY EXPLAIN the entirety of what was is signing up for. This is not okay. I am very upset. I would not recommend this store. Feels like your going in just to get lied to and signed up for things you don’t need, or being lied to that they can’t help because they don’t want to deal with you or saying they’re are unable to cancel or take off things your account. WHEN that is a LIE.
They are all about meeting numbers. Not understanding that things like this cost people money and time!!!! I did complain to cooperate. Opening 3 lines doing the FirstNet wrong is all bad business. Not explaining things fully or giving half truths is wrong and deceitful. - November 29, 2021

On 11/26 in the evening I went to this porterville location with the intention of getting an upgraded phone and sign up for the the FirstNet program that Att offers. The associate that helped us was Jasmine M. It was late when we went so she was in a rush which I understand to a certain point. During our visit we also expressed interest in an Apple Watch for my husband. She had mentioned the buy one get one free deal they had going on. BUT FAILED to mention that it was conditional to getting service on the watch. All she said was you buy a watch and you get one free. So we thought we were getting a deal and went with it. She also helped us set up the FirstNet program. Through out this entire process she FAILED to ask me if I wanted to keep my ATT number and make that my FirstNet number. She did not go into any details of the program but did say I could get a phone line, an iPad service and watch service all included through FirstNet but did not go into cost of it or how it worked. I was very clear on me being the one on FirstNet since I was the one who should the proper identification needed. BUT again she never asked me if I would be keeping my old number. With that being said what appeared to be a quick trip with what we needed. I was extremely disappointed and upset when I got home and checked my AT&T account and saw that I had an Apple Watch line opened, one pending to be activated upon arrival to the Apple Watch we ordered due to them not having it and a number I was unfamiliar with as the FirstNet account. That means not 1 not 2 BUT 3 extra lines that were completely UNNECESSARY were opened in MY NAME. That I WOULD BE LIABLE TO PAY BILLS ON. With out me knowing or it being explained that they had been opened. I was never told the Apple watches came with the condition of paying for the service. I just wanted watched I never said service. And the FirstNet number was a whole new number that I would not even be using or even know about because I thought she was using my original AT&T number that I already had.
Seeing all this really upset me so my husband and I made an appointment that night to go in the next morning to return the watch and ask for further explanation.
When we went in the associate that helped us was name Gloria. I found it very ODD the way she handled us. My husband was very upset and I was annoyed that we had to be there to fix what they had done. When speaking to Gloria every time we asked her a question every other response was I need to ask my manager. She couldn’t even give us a straight answer on returning the Apple Watch we had brought back. I HAD JUST BOUGHT IT LEss than 14 hours of taking it back. She even had the nerve to ask us to wait for Jasmine to come in as she would be working later that day to help resolve things. I had to work so we said no we wanted it fix our issues and return our watch than. She made a weird statement and said she didn’t want to over step anything Jasmine had spoken or promised to us and then made a comment about jasmine being able to give her side of the story the truth. Implying we were lying. Are you serious? Why on earth would I waste my time and lie about such a ridiculous matter. That upset me because I am an honest person and I would never make up a lie to get out of something I understood. I was never made aware of the conditions that came with the Apple Watch. We thought we could just get a watch there NO SERVICE FOR IT.
Gloria did not help with the cancellation of the Apple Watch line after speaking to her manager she told me I had to call in myself to AT&T and do so. - October 20, 2021
