    Avoid this store!!

    After going back and forth with in-store sales rep Zohel, numerous consumer reps, a retail consumer rep since March, and lastly a retention specialist who prompted me, I’ve decided to finally write this review.

    I bought two Apple watches online on a BOGO $300 credit deal in December. For some reason the second watch was not able to be delivered and was cancelled so my initial response was to go to return the first watch (under the 14 day return period). I went to this ATT store being the closest open (per covid). Zohel, the in-store rep who helped me, told me he would still be able to get me a second under the BOGO deal. Having trusted him, I kept my first watch and purchased the second in-store. He also sold me on getting a first net plan for this second watch. He also gave me his business card.

    Come 2-3 billing cycles later, I don’t get the BOGO deal that I was promised and am STILL not receiving them. After numerous calls since then, a retail consumer rep I spoke to last month stated that the BOGO deal would not be initiated because the watch was not set up correctly by the sales rep. Again, Zohel, tells me he’ll take care of it but I’ve not heard back since then even after asking him for updates. Yesterday (11/10/20) I decided to call a consumer rep again who sent in a case to his manager regarding the issue and transferred me to a retention specialist who finally said that there was absolutely nothing that could be done on their end and to take it up with the store itself.

    In summary, instead of being able to return my watch which was what I initially wanted to do, I’m stuck with an un-returnable watch that I now have to pay full price out of pocket? If I had known that I was going to have to pay full price for it, I would have just returned my first watch. What this seems like was Zohel was pushing a sale he had no knowledge about. As a long time ATT customer, this is inexcusable.
