    rough start, fantastic end. On May 13th I purchased a phone for my daughter. She had issues and attempted to contact Israel on the same day to no avail.
    on 5/20/21 She advised that the phone would not charge that there was an issue with the port. We went to the Volusia Pointe store and was initially attended to by a young black male. He was not listening and continued to shout about policy and stated that the phone was saying that the phone got wet and whether or not I knew how did not matter. He stated that I would have to pay 250 for a new phone and wait 30 days. He spoke to a few co-workers and continued to indicate that there were no other options. I have been with ATT since 1998, I have never experienced what we experienced next. My daughter went to ask another representative if there was someone like a manger who could assist us. The young man began to yell at my daughter in the middle of the store about how he was trying to help her and how dare she go to someone else to ask for help when he has forgone assisting others to assist us. He said that he was standing up for himself. The act was mind blowing and unprofessional beyond belief. This young man did not apologize and seemed to be validated as no one said a thing to him. He even lectured us on how we should have made contact the moment that the phone began having issues. Overall just being relentless in his blame and firm on his stance that My daughter and I were just going to have to accept a huge loss. We were humiliated and greatly embarrassed by his behavior.

    Finally Chelsea the manager came over and she was absolutely amazing. She did so many things to try to get the phone to work like factory reset. She was kind and patient. she advised that if the phone was less than 14 days purchased, that she could replace the phone. She did just that. She was very personable and a pro. That engagement could have been so much worse had she not come in to help. Praises to her and her professionalism. I hope that there is tape so that someone can witness the level of unprofessionalism exhibited by the sensitive employee.

    Jenny Gonzalez was the consultant I saw when I went to this location. I had several questions about my plan and a cracked screen saver (yay, the screen was not cracked). She answered all my questions efficiently and took great care putting on the new screen saver with no air bubbles, like that one I replaced had. I have gone to the AT&T stores at The Pavilion. I found them to be quite condescending like they were doing you a favor by waiting on you. I am glad I went to this location since I was in Daytona for another reason. 😁

    I have been a customer with atnt for over 5 years. I walked into this store and I felt so unwelcome. The white lady asked who needs to sign in and I simply raised my had. This white guy was like oh the other white guy was here first. I was like ok I was just easing my hand. He started saying oh it’s not a big deal he was here first . The white lady was like it’s either h going to sign in or not . So I asked if I wasn’t suppose to raise my hand. She was like like you want to sign in? I asked her if I did something wrong by raising my hand and she was just like oh i don’t know what you are asking me... this store’s customer service is so poor ... and we already know why I was disregarded the way I was.
