Mike Klering, texted my 11 year old daughter asking her to have the account holder give him a call saying he was the store manager. I assumed this was spam. I called the number, turns out it was actually him and he was texting my child. This is inappropriate. - December 26, 2020

Day 4 of my experience with AT&T in Danville KY. Corporate customer service called me (thank you very much) and wanted to make sure that I had a phone to give my wife as a Christmas present. They indicated that they had sent an email to (I assume Mike K in Danville) to make sure he understood his responsibility and encouraged me to go to the store and call Customer Service if there was an issue (he gave me a direct dial number). I called the store (did not want to get embarrassed again in public) and they told me that Mike was off today and they would have to call him. The employee called me back and said that Mike instructed me to go to another AT&T store. I told the employee that there was not time before the early close due to Christmas and I would show up anyway. I also informed him that Customer service removed the upgrade on the incorrect phone and all they had to do was a simple upgrade. When I arrived at the store, I told the employee that I wanted to upgrade my phone, when he got my name he said that he would have to call Mike to see if he could do it (I am sure that that is not the standard procedure for anyone else). Mike told him to do the upgrade but to refuse to accept the incorrect phone that customer service wanted shipped back to them (they already removed this phone from my account). So thanks to Customer Service for seeing the value of my business, however I still have the extra phone and sent an Email to Customer Service for a shipping label to send it back (which is what they told me to do if Mike refused again). I would like to point out that the employees in the Danville store are very nice and want to help, but clearly have concerns with the direction from Mike. Amazing that this is the voice that AT&T wants representing their brand. - December 23, 2020
