    Horrible customer service

    I came in with my family on 1/15 to get upgrades on our phones. The associate that worked with us was Destiny. I had an Iphone XR and was informed I could trade in my phone for an $800 credit in which I was delighted and decided to get the Iphone13 Pro Max. They did not have the gold in stock so I paid for the taxes and ordered the phone to be shipped to my house. I was informed that once the phone came in I would have 30 days to return my previous phone. I went into another att location and transferred all my old phones content to my new phone and we did a factory reset on my old phone. As I went to hand the guy the phone to send to att for a trade in, I removed my case and he sees that there is a crack on the back of the phone and informs me that I would only receive a $350 credit and not the $800. At no point did Destiny inform me that my trade in was conditional on having zero cosmetic flaws. I was informed I would get the $800 credit multiple times. I then went back to this store location to express how upset I was to have learned that my new phone would actually cost me $450. At this point I had already deleted my old phone, spent hours getting this new phone set up and delievered and purchasing protective equiptment for it at another location. Destiny was not apologetic at all; did not apologize for misinforming me. Her manager came over to discuss that he would be unable to honor giving me the credit that I was promised I would receive. He informed me that if I reached out to customer loyalty they may be able to honor that credit. I called customer loyalty and was on hold for 40 minutes and finally spoke with a very kind customer service representative. She was very transparent with me and stated that she is not sure why the manager told me to call customer loyalty regarding a credit, that only the physical store location would be able to do this. She stated that each store is allotted certain credits to provide to its customers when situations like this arise. She further stated that he likely only gave me the customer service number to get me out of the store and not have to deal with the issue. I called back the following day and discussed with another manager what happened and the information I received from customer loyalty. That manager interrupted me to say "she was already familar with the situation and that I could either return the phone or received the $350 credit." Again, not apologetic at all. This would not be an issue had I not spent hours setting up this new phone and already paid for several things for the phone. Additionally, now the new phone has the tiniest little scracth I guess from touching my keys when I was holding it or something. Long story short, I detrimentally relied on Destiny when she informed me multiple times that I would receive a credit. The only condition I was informed of was that I would have to turn in my old phone within 30 days. She also somehow completely screwed up my family plan and had over $400 extra charges to the phone bill to which my mother had to stay on the phone with customer service to fix for over an hour. I am completely dissatisfied with my experience with the staff at this store and frankly hoping att makes it right and gives me a credit. If they do not give me a credit, I can return the phone but will not be happy if I am held responsible for the tiny scratch because this only occured because I was unable to put the purchased screen protector on the phone once the associate at the other store informed me that I would ne unable to get the $800 credit. So as I was transporting the phone back to this store, this scratch occured. I am very very unhappy and this experience has made me look into joining another service provider.

    I had a very bad experience at this store. They said my new bill would only be $1 more than my old bill after getting a new phone. My new bill was $150 more!!! I call customer service and they fixed most of the damage. They also directed me to another AT&T store. The 2nd store was great - what a difference! Now, I have a better plan for less money!

    Golly we got great help with my new iPhone from Robert Nelson. Very helpful and personable AND KNOWLEDGEABLE! He made sure everything was working before we left the store and showed my husband how to change out a SIM card. Super service.

    Went into store to check out my bill, they were awesome, they gave me great service. Also my bill was lower when I walked out the door. I would recommend come to this store for great service! This team was great!
