    When I went into the AT&T store in Wentzville I was in need of help and stressed out about it all as I walked in the store……. BUT I walked out of there completely satisfied with the service and incredibly happy with the outcome. All of my issues were fixed 😊
    I believe that is ALL because of the employee who helped me. Her name is Kat Rene. She made me understand everything by explaining it all so clearly. She even helped me pair my daughters watch. She was so kind and so helpful. She went above and beyond and I’m so grateful. Thank you so much Kat.

    The issues we had are not only with the store a while back but with the overall AT&T support and lack of a valid email address to email customer service.
    My wife was told probably a year ago that her phone would be ok to work on the new 5g network, then a couple months ago she received another email that her phone would not work. Talking to the 800 number they confirmed that she would need to replace her phone, they offered no explanation as to why she was told before it would be ok but now it is not. So we did an upgrade exchange with AT&T, to get her on the a 5g phone. On 8/25 her new phone decided not to wake up and discovered we could not even power it on or when plugging it in to power no indication it was charging. So we went up to the AT&T store they were no help stated we need to call into the warranty number. Went back home called them and went through the process, took longer than I think it should have but most of it was trying to understand what the person on the other end was asking.
    Fast forward, received the replacement phone on 8/29 earlier than anticipate, I guess a plus. Opened up the box went through the instructions, placed the new phone on the charger and turned it on. They also sent a sim card but no instructions on what to do with it. I had to call the 800 to ask questions about the sim card and stated I had to google this to figure it out, but I mentioned to them when we put in the claim they asked about the sim and I stated we did not know where it was or how to get to it, I guess the AT&T person did not know either. ‘lack of training’ So I asked do I just use the one that was sent and was it active, she told me it was.
    My wife happened to have her older phone so I was able to still copy her contacts, but struggled again with the contacts since the LG switch app did not do these. Finally figured this out and tried to make a call and it would not. Had to call the 800 number again, after explaining what I ran into she asked why did we trade it in for an LG and not an iPhone that LG is not making phones anymore. I told her well this is the stores fault they never mentioned that LG was not going to have phones anymore and the model we got is the last one made. She was going to activate the phone and wanted me to shut it down and I had restarted it, looking at the phone it had a message updating firmware do not unplug the usb. Could not get past this point, however, she took all the information down and activated the sim and transferred me over to advanced support. Ended up they weren’t sure what the firmware upgrade was and asked me to power it down I stated I had been trying to do this with the power button and the up volume button. While we were trying to figure this out I noticed a box at the bottom and it stated to use the down volume button so I tried that and it was able to shutdown and power up with no issues.

    Needless to say very disappointed in the service from AT&T, recommending a replacement phone to a OEM that is not making phones anymore (makes me think they needed to get rid of inventory) so lets push customers to this whether they need one or not. Poor customer service after receiving the replacement phone. Not so how long this phone will last since it already had an issue with being stuck upgrading firmware with no activity.
    Also, it is a shame with the pandemic right now and them moving to a smaller store that they did not mandate masks in the store even for vaccinated folks. Shame on AT&T for not watching out for safety for all of their customers.
