Hello,
On December 22nd 2021. I unfortunately went to the AT&T wireless store at 712 Haddonfield Rd Cherry Hill Nj to purchase new phones. The sale associates name was Omar.
Omar told me that because I was purchasing 4 phones, I was eligible to get 4 apple watches and all that I would have to pay is the taxes.
I told Omar I didn’t need 4 watches, so he suggested that I could replace 2 of the apple watches with an iPad. Omar also said the watches and iPad would cost around $10 for use.
He said the total bill for everything:
-The four phones monthly
-the usage fee for the watches and iPad
-The service for the four phones, Etc. , would cost me right around $230 per month, plus taxes and fees.
After a few weeks I received my first bill and it was around $480. The cellular cost of the iPad and the 2 watches alone cost well over $100 and on my ATT app it still somehow shows that I have 4 apple watches.
I contacted the manager of the cherry hill store l, Dan and told him I wanted to return the iPad and 2 watches but was told it was too late to return them.
I then schedule an appointment to meet with Dan the manager on Jan 11th, after explaining to Dan what happen he told me would take care of everything and went in the back for about 20 to 30 minutes then came back out and told me you worked it all out.
Dan told my bill would be right around the same $230 that Omar quoted me and additionally stated that I would save approximately $5 on each phone by enrolling in auto pay.
Dan also told me that my trade in my iPhone 7 would save me $300 on the cost of my new phone. Which was another lie.
Well it’s 4 months later and my bill is still over $480.
Finally I decided the only way I would get out of the ridiculously high bill was to just pay for the Apple watches and iPad in full which was over $1100 and cancel the cellular services for the watches and the iPad.
After calling at&t customer service and a couple hours on the phone I was able to buy the watches and iPad.
It gets better!!!
Recently I signed up for Truebill, a service that shows me any subscriptions I may be paying for. Well to my surprise I have been paying $75 for directv since, you got it Dec 22 2021.
After over an hour on the phone with directv I was able to cancel the service.
My nightmare now finally close to being over.

AVOID THIS STORE!
Worst customer service ever! A 95-year-old senior citizen got ripped off! I can't believe that they took advantage of a 95-year-old! The rep named Julian sold him a brand-new phone that didn't work from the start. He spent two hours waiting while the rep tried to get service to his phone, then the rep told him to come back the next day. The rep spent two more hours the next day and he still couldn't get the Brand-new cell phone to work. So, he told the rep "Julian" to just give him his money back. Julian only gave back $12.82 out of $83.16 charged! For a phone that never worked! Julian stated there was a restocking fee and activation fee, etc. What a crock of bull for a phone that never worked! To add insult to injury, he got billed another $31.99 on his credit card for the 1st months service! This rep at AT&T at 712 Haddonfield Road, Cherry Hill, NJ 08002 took advantage of a senior citizen! Despicable! I tried to help him get refund for the remaining $77.00 and I was on the phone with AT&T for almost two hours with no solution!! Finally, after speaking with 4 reps, I got transferred back to the store where the same abrupt / rude rep named Julian answered and was no help what so ever. He just talked over me and kept saying the same thing over and over, as if that same wrong answer was a solution! "Update": I got a reply to this online review to call Dan the manager. I called 5 times on different days to try to reach him. Dan wasn't in each time, until the last attempt. Finally on the 5th attempt I did reach Dan. He said he would check with his supervisor and call me back. That was two weeks ago and never heard back! Go figure! Bottom Line: We ended up getting a brand-new cell phone and service from Best Buy on a different network than AT&T. It worked right out of the box the first time after the rep activated it! That is the way it is supposed to work! Should have been a simple process that turned into a nightmare at the AT&T store.Response from AT&TJune 2, 2022Hi Phil .. I have a prepaid 3g flip phone. I was in the store Tuesday & I was told to call 611 to get a free replacement 5g flip phone - can't get thru on 611 and cannot access this problem on-line.
