    JEFF E. - one of the managers is HORRIBLE & A LIAR. On 2/24/21, I went into this store as a walk in for a simple upgrade to a new iPhone/trade in. After waiting in line for far too long, someone really amazing and nice helped me (Wish I remembered his name, he was SO NICE!) But when I got home, my SIM card was not activated and I couldn't use the phone at all other than wifi. So I went straight back to the store right before closing time at about 7:20pm. Jeff E., the worst customer service person I've dealt with in a while, "helped" me. He tried to do a network reset 3 times to no avail and finally gave up (probably wanting to go home and not deal with me) so he LIED FLAT OUT because it was verbal not in writing. He said I would have to be without a phone until the morning so basically 12 HOURS!!! He sent me home and said he made me the earliest possible appt for the next day (Thurs 2/25/21) which was 12pm. He said to come in at opening time and I QUOTE: "Come in right when we open at 10am and I'll bump you to the top of the line in front of anyone else since this is pretty urgent" he legit repeated "I'll bump you to the front" like at least 4 times. I have a witness (my bf was With me) who can corroborate this story AS FACT. WAIT FOR IT.... I go in this morning right at 10 and this amazing girl Beatrize helps me (so nice, amazing hair :)) and she calls Jeff right in front of me. when she hangs up she says "he was surprised you are here so early and he says he didn't tell you to come in until your appointment at 12." I WAS SO DUMBFOUNDED. like how dare you Jeff? not to mention he was already so rude to me the night before, don't LIE TO YOUR CUSTOMERS. I have a business account. RUDE RUDE RUDE RUDE. Beatrize was amazing and legit fixed my phone in under 8 minutes and I was on my way. JEFF E. HAS NO PLACE AS A MANAGER. LEGIT ANY OF THE PEOPLE WORKING FOR HIM ARE FAR MORE QUALIFIED. Beatrize did the same fix as him and it worked for her! network reset! so that says it all.

    I swore I would never use AT&T again after a horrific experience with them many years ago. But being new to Dallas, and the store being down the street, I thought I would try. However, it's still terrible - nothing has changed. Terrible all around: it took 2 hours just to set up a new phone (from an admittedly patient customer service person), and I was told I was all set. I was fully paid up. But the phone does not work. "Oh, it's not for phone calls - only text and streaming," said Christian and Crisella. "To talk is an extra 10 dollars a month." They are also rude, uncooperative, and unprofessional. Someone needs to get John Stankey's attention and close this store ASAP - or else honor what you advertise.

    Absolutely the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. I have had to revisit this store 3, today being the 4th time, to get my phone to work properly. They ASSURED me everything was good to go. I ended up without a phone on an on call night. Called in as soon as they opened, and suddenly no one has any idea what’s going on. I am an extremely frustrated ATT customer of 10+ years.

    Very very poor experience at this AT&T store.

    I visited the store this past weekend both on Saturday and Sunday and spent a cumulative of 2 hours with no resolution in sight. All I wanted to do was port
    a number to AT&T and add it to a multi-line prepaid account. An activity I have done 3 times in the past 10 months. The first person who helped me (Holly) was patient but it took her a long time to understand what I was doing, and then couldnt port the number and told us it would take a "few more hours" and she would let us know when to come back. When I didnt hear from her, I called and sent a text for an update, to the number she provided but got radio silence.
    Since I wanted this done, I went back on Sunday and was told Holly wasnt around and that no one else had the account information. This time, Erik helped me. Ironically, Erik was asking ME questions on how this is done (eg. did you port the number first or did you activate it first) - he told me he had no idea how to do the request I asked for, and I could clearly see him reading an FAQ on his iPad device. Kinda strange since he's the one working with AT&T. After waiting for another hour, I asked him if it would take time and he said "Yes, this will" Would have been nice to know since I had been explicit about having waited for an hour on Saturday and that I did not want a repeat on Sunday. After which he stood up, walked away and threw the sheet of paper with my information in the trash. I am frankly appalled that a company as big as AT&T would allow someone to treat their customers like this. It was shocking to me. It is NOT my job to tell an executive how to add a member to a multi-line prepaid account. I've been to several other stores in the past and have never had this issue occur. Will NOT be returning.
