Manage your Wi-Fi info

Learn how to find and change the Wi-Fi name and password for your AT&T 5G Gateway.

Gateway

The quickest way to get your Wi-Fi® name and password is from your 5G Gateway. Look for a label on the bottom of the device. It will have your default Wi-Fi details.

Admin portal

From a device connected to your gateway:

  1. Sign in to the Internet Air web admin portal.
  2. Open Network and select Wi-Fi.
  3. Scroll to see your Wi-Fi name and password.

You can change your default Wi-Fi® info in just a few steps. From a device connected to your 5G Gateway:

  1. Sign in to the Internet Air web admin portal.
  2. Open Network and select Wi-Fi. 
  3. Enter a custom:
    • Wi-Fi Network Name (SSID)
    • Wi-Fi Password
  4. Select Save.

FYI: If you change your Wi-Fi name or password, make sure you update the connection info for any devices that were previously connected.

The 5G Gateway comes with default Wi-Fi security settings. You can update or change yours as needed. From a device connected to your gateway:

  1. Sign in to the Internet Air web admin portal.
  2. Open Network and select Wi-Fi.
  3. Scroll and select Security Setting.
  4. Choose your option from the menu.
  5. Select Save.
