Where to find the IMEI

Here’s how to look up the 15-digit IMEI on your cellular device.

Phone keypad

Open your phone's keypad and enter *#06# to see your IMEI on the screen. No app or menu required.

iOS devices

Go to Settings. Tap General, then About. Scroll to IMEI. On older iPhones, you'll see two IMEIs. Long-press on either to copy it directly.

Android devices

Go to Settings. Tap About Phone, then Status Information. Choose IMEI. IMEI location varies by manufacturer but is always in About Phone.

Box or SIM tray

The IMEI is printed on the original box label near the barcode. On some devices, it’s laser-etched on the SIM tray. This helps when the phone is off.
