Great phone, affordable price
I bought this phone around when it first came out. I own the 32gb in blue. This is my second iPhone and I love it! Very easy to navigate, takes great photos, and has lot of storage. I have 80 applications, nearly 6,000 photos and videos, and 288 songs on it. I love that apple did a plastic version because the price was perfect!
Other reviews have said it breaks easily and I haven't experienced that. I am someone who drops my phone 1-2 times weekly, and mine hasn't budged. (I do have a speck candVe más

Bad Memory
Just got the 5c and did not realize that Apple takes up about 1/2 the phone's memory with their own apps that you cannot remove. Live and learn. Very unhappy.

poorly manufactured
screen broke just from being in my pocket after one week of ownership. i had an iphone 4 in my same pocket thru same conditions for two years and never any issues. this iphone 5c is poorly made and Apple does not stand behind their product and hide behind their warranty clause of "physical damage". the physical damage was cause by poor manufacturing.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Meh

Phone does an OK job, nothing special. We have 3 of them, all 32 GB models. While 2 have been structurally fine, the 3rd has had numerous problems with LCD failing, and all 3 have had problems with batteries not lasting, and numerous software issues (phone shuts off when battery reads 20%, phone randomly freezes, sometimes won't fully acknowledge you touching the phone). The 5s I think would have been much more durable (or so I have read). Overall though we have been OK with them, but the one that keeps failing will be replaced with a competitor phone.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Phone programmed to fail @ end of contract?
Purchased iphone5c 2 years ago with special deal from AT&T and now the battery dies in few hours now that I'm near end of contract as well as the touch screen does not function properly anymore. It was a nice phone, but over the past two years of standard use it is dying. Programmable tech failures? Probably.

Q: About how many songs can I store on an 8gb phone?
1 Answer
A: This may vary dependent on file format, track length, compression used etc. However a good estimate for 8GB of storage would be 2000 songs (with an average file size of 4mb). An additional consideration would be that the device operating system will reserve a portion of the 8GB of storage.
