It's a toy....

I was looking for a phone that worked well as a phone and was also good for texting. The Reveal is just...ok.
I'm surprised to read other reviews stating the camera is good. It isn't.
The microphone picks up any and all background noise when on a phone call.
A Biggy...you can't see text messages in thread/conversation format. You have to jump back and forth between Inbox/Sent to see your exchange with someone else. From the stone ages!
It's a mystery when and why the keypad locks when you close the slide.
at&t won't let you delete a bunch of default address book items I'll never use. Same with menu items and applications. Let me delete junk I don't care about!

I've had this phone for a week now and have had absolutely no problems. This is the first phone I have had that has the full keyboard and I love it. The keys are a little small but it didn't take me long to get used to them. The camera is great and you can zoom if you lower the size of the picture but the camera takes great pictures. The only thing missing is is a flash..
Overall I love it. My daughter got the same phone in red and loves hers too. I would recommend to anyone

i luv this phone

hi im a 14 year old girl and i luv texting. this phone is the best phone i hav ever had. at first it was really good. but now ive had it for 7 months and now its starting to work really bad. it freezes shuts off at random times works really slow when u type the letters dont keep up at the rate ur typing them. and then when u hav it on vibrate and ring it will only vibrate and not ring and it started doing this when i first got it. it does hav really great camera and the best part about it is u can send the pic to snapfish so u can upload them on to ur computer

Mediocre phone... 'Till you drop it.

My Pantech Matrix was broken (A friend slammed the screen into the wall), and they sent me this. I was extremely annoyed with the blackberry knockoff look, however I got past that pretty quick. It took me about a month to get used to the tiny keys, and when I charge the phone fully, I usually watch it die around the end of work at 5. It doesn't have much onboard memory, but a quick trip to Best Buy to get a Micro SD card fixed that.
However, last week, I dropped the phone for the first time. I usually take impeccable care of my phones, but there's not much you can do when someone knocks it out of your hands. (I'm noticing a theme here.) It dropped, and now the right most two columns of keys no longer work. The phone is pretty much unusable for texting, and I sent around 9000 text messages last month. I'm overall unhappy with this phone. For those of you who find yourselves dropping your phones alot, do NOT get this phone.
