Freezes a lot

I purchased this phone about six months ago and realize that it freezes at least once a month. I do like how it has Microsoft office installed on it and how lightweight it is.

I've had this phone forever. Never had a problem with software. Wish battery lasted longer. This phone has got wet and dropped several times. Stills works just like new!!

This is my first window phone, in fact it smooth and very fast. only a little minus , the battery run down too quickly

Q: What to do about it freezing? I've seen others with this problem of it freezing and the only way to fix it is to take out the battery. I have this problem too, I took it to my local AT&T and the person just switched out my phone, but it's still doing it. Should I just get a new phone?

- A: If mine reezes, I hold down the center key and the on/off key for about 30 seconds and this is a "hard reset". The phone will then power off/on. I have less problems with freezing if I make sure to turn it off and let it get "updates" on a fairly regular basis (every other day I power down and leave it sit for 10 minutes).14 years agoHelpful?

Q: Can a memory card be inserted to acquire more memory? I have seen a few complaints about not being enough memory. Can you put a sd card in the phone to get more memory?

- A: No, there is no place for amemory card. However, I can tell you that I have a TON of pictures, videos, music and apps on mine and the memory is nowhere near full. I'm not sure where the complaints came from on memory, but my experience has been there is plenty.14 years agoHelpful?
Q: Do all apps and programs on phone use data? This is one of my first smart phones and I'm not familiar with using or adding apps yet! But I would like to know if all apps and programs already on the phone (ATT Radio, Now App, etc.) always use data? I mainly plan to use the phone for e-mails, but don't wish to go over my limit without knowing when lisetning to music or using the Microsoft Office software. Luckily it gives you the option of checking your data usage though. Thanks!

- A: Any apps that involve streaming music or navigation based apps will use some amount of data. Listening to music that is stored on your phone or using the Office app will not use data unless you are syncing information to your Skydrive account. Usually, once you download most apps, the amount of data used after that, if any, is very little.14 years agoHelpful?
