- A: Greetings Nenamarie, I apologize, but I’m not seeing an offer for a free Apple iPad with the purchase of a new Apple iPhone. What I was able to find is the promotion to get an Apple iPad mini 2 32GB for $49.99 with a 2 year contract, when an Apple iPhone is purchased on the AT&T Next installment plan. That 2 year contract will be on the same account as the Apple iPhone, which means the Apple iPad mini will require a qualifying data plan. If you want to give as a gift, it will require to buy out the 2 year contract and remove the Apple iPad from your account. - A: Hello j1l2m4, If I’m reading your question correctly, you can use the Apple iPad mini 2 in place of the LG G Pad that is no longer working. It will require that the line you wish to use the Apple iPad on is updated to reflect the Apple iPad, since each operating system (iOS, Android, etc.) uses different access points to the network.
