Locations in the AT&T app can help keep tabs on family members’ devices on your account.
The location map shows a selected device's general location on a street map or satellite view. Only the account owner or online users can set up location sharing.
Good to know: Location sharing uses the AT&T network to estimate a device’s location. It’s designed for reliable, everyday visibility, even if the device’s GPS is turned off. The device location shown is approximate and may vary based on network conditions and device usage.
Selected devices will appear on the map as a pin using the first letter of the device name. The device location on the map will refresh in real time. Account owners and online users can select a device to zoom in on and see its approximate location , call or text the device, or get directions to the device's location.
FYI: Location data won’t show on the map if the device being shared has airplane mode turned on.
