- June 9, 20191 out of 5I have been in my local AT&T store maybe 6-7 times. I always leave impressed with the staff - and usually with a new purchase. I get my phone, internet, and tv service from AT&T, and also have bought some apple products from that store - largely because the staff is so helpful and friendly. Well today I met the store manager and I had probably one of the worst customer experience of my life. I explained I was having trouble with my new Uverse tv (that I just bought at that store a few months ago). He quickly said "you need to call customer service." I replied, "probably, but I really could use some help and frankly some advice on how to proceed. I can give great detail about our exchange (I wrote it out when I left) - but I will tell you the last thing he said: "Sir, I'm done with you." Yes, that is what he said. And he literally walked away while I was talking to him. I noticed the look on other customers faces - not something AT&T would have wanted. I left in disbelief - a loyal AT&T customer who just wanted a little help. I did call customer service and they took care of me - but I didn't get all the information I was seeking. The manager was unprofessional and very mean. I am not sure I have ever called anyone a jerk before - but I think that fits this person.
