My Iphone 11 screen went black so I went to the store to purchase a new Iphone. I explained this to the gentleman that checked me in. He listened and then put me on a waitlist warning me that it would be 30 minutes or longer. When my time came I explained to the CSR that my phone had died and I'd like to purchase a new phone. AT THIS POINT HE TOLD ME THE STORE HAD NO INVENTORY. HMMMM. WOULDN'T IT HAVE BEEN KID AND LOGICAL TO EXPLAIN THAT TO ME BEFORE I WAITED 30 MINUTES? If i could give it zero stars i would. worst customer service ever. First off the wait time was long, but i understand with this whole covid thing going on times are going to take longer if you want a face to face with someone. While waiting to be seen i was sitting and a couple came in and and asked about an Iphone 12. one of the associates went up and took them over to the display and started answering questions about the phone. after about 5-10 min he said they would have to sign in to speak to someone more about the phone. So obviously they did not have an appointment. Just wondering why start helping them when others are waiting to be seen and then say oh ummm you need to sign in now???
The bigger issue came with the associate Liz. From the start she had a very poor attitude to say the least. It seemed like i was wasting her time. She talked down to me and would not answer my questions. When i asked about two different models, Liz seemed annoyed that i asked the question. Then she said they were out of one model anyways so i said i would go with the one model they had. Liz went to the back room and came out with one. I asked her about the different memory sizes since she never asked what one would i like and she rolled her eyes at me. She then went to the back room again. At that point i was done with her attitude and talking down to me and i asked for another person to help me. After about 30 min of not getting any help i got up to leave. The assistant manager Jill came over and asked what was wrong and i explained how poorly we were treated and we were leaving. She gave the well i will talk to her, the normal manager "i'll talk to her" comment which i feel was just a waste of time since she will not take it seriously. I have never been treated so poorly and looking at other reviews it is a wonder how this store stays open.Response from AT&TFebruary 1, 2021Hello shawn g. Your experience in our store matters to us.
