    On November 11th (over 3 months ago from the time that I write this review) I decided to change service from Verizon to AT&T. The store manager, Kyle Crossman assisted me. Kyle advised me that there are promotions for business accounts that could decrease the cost of my bill. I advise Kyle that I am not a business owner. Kyle then goes further to ask if I have any hobbies to which I respond that I make things on my cricut and asked if I sell them, to which I respond no, but think it would be neat to open an Etsy some day. Kyle then tells me that he’s going to just open a business account because “they don’t even check anyway” and though I had communicated that I wasn’t a business owner, he set the account up as a business account. During my visit to the store, I ordered an iPhone 13 Pro. Kyle sent me home with 3 SIM cards to have my family members “just pop into their phone and it the service will switch over” sounds magical, right? Not a magical experience.. Kyle (in what I can only assume was an attempt to set up an account during his shift to gain the commission; ported two of the numbers on my account but set them up with new AT&T telephone numbers that I would later have to call into customer service to have them successfully complete the port & cancel the phantom lines. Fast forward to November 18th.. my phone arrives.. I take my two year old son into the store for what should have been a quick trip.. trade my phone in & setup my new phone. Wrong, we were in the store from 6pm-9pm (an hour after the store closes- hats off to you Kyle, very committed.. but not committed enough to not take a smoke break midway through) At 9pm we finally give up because Kyle is unable to get my telephone number ported over. Kyle advises me on the way out that he would be reaching out to his supervisor and they would issue a credit onto my account for the inconvenience. I leave that night with my iPhone 12, the new iPhone 13 Pro.. and told that I should just keep both phones with me because once they’re able to port my number over, my old phone will just stop working and the new phone will work. My new phone begins to work late in the evening on the 18th. I get up at 5am for work and head in.. and realize that I am only able to make phone calls, I cannot text or access the internet without being connected to Wi-Fi. I reach out to Kyle, hoping that he can fix this issue.. Kyle responds (and I quote) “I have an android and you are sending me texts, so your data is working” to which I say “I am connected to Wi-Fi”. No response. So I get off of work at 6:30pm and head to a local, corporate store in Sarasota, off of Bee Ridge and Shade. Casey helps me. He quickly realizes that our friend Kyle set my account up as a talk only account.. 350 minutes a month. Casey let’s me know that we can fix this but it will take some time because he will need to call in and have my account moved from a business account to a consumer account. I make an appointment for the following day, and spend 4 hours in the store while they fix Kyle’s mistakes. Fast forward.. I have had nearly 3 months of service in which I can talk, text.. search the internet without a Wi-Fi connection. I receive a bill in the mail for $437.57 for my “business account” that was active for 8 days. I call customer service several times and am advised that I would need to visit the store because the account was canceled and it will need to be fixed by the store who set up the account. Here we are, today.. January 20th, 2022. I arrive at the store and advise Kyle all of the above. Kyle tells me that I told him that I have a business (after he minutes before asked me what brought me in and did not remember me or our interaction)- also did not recall a text (which I pulled up for him) where he stated that his supervisor would be calling me. Kyle then told me to text my friend who was with me the day I set up my account, I oblige, text her right in front of Kyle and she responds that I did not say that I owned a business. Kyle grabs my phone off of the counter in front of him and calls 611. Kyle does not get through to a live person to speak to in a moments time and hangs my phone up and dials from his and walks off to the back for a few moments. I explain to Kyle that I feel like we are at odds and that I would like his supervisors contact information to which he responds that he isn’t going to give me the owners number. I ask Kyle if he would write down my number and ask him to give me a call. Kyle says he will, but he said he would once before and that didn’t occur. Kyle tells me that he remembers me “that I am the girl that freaked out because my phone did work for like a day”. At this point I ask Kyle if maybe I should come here, write a review and hopefully illicit the attention of the business owner. Kyle responds with that he is pretty much done with this, that he knew that I was going to go there- that is is just written all over my face”. I tell Kyle that he is the

    I’ve been in numerous ATT stores over the years. I’m a snowbird and have to say that this store is the best I’ve ever dealt with. I’ve had several occasions to use it, most recently when my husband’s iPhone died and needed replacing. Everyone working here is very knowledgeable and helpful. Good job all of you.

    Spent almost 2 hours trying to transfer info from an old devise to my new one. Kyle is an angel.. He is extremely patient and explained the entire process to me as we went. Upgrading or swapping out a device is always a hassle and usually expensive.. I can honestly say, the treatment I received for Kyle made it all worth while. Above & beyond Sir.. I thank u
