    Let me begin by stating I was very unhappy with a lingering issue that began over 1 year ago with the purchase of two iPhones. We purchased the iPhones under a BOGO free promotion in September of 2019, and never received the full credit for one of the phones. My wife and I called and text the manager that sold us the phones, but we got the “In store” run-a-round. We called AT&T customer loyalty department, but all they did was refer us back to the store (the “Out store” run-a-round). We even went back to the store to speak directly to the manager on a few different occasions, and he turned into a better illusionist than “David Blaine” because he disappeared, or sank into the phone line like the “Matrix.”


    The amount of frustration my wife and I had is hard to describe because $750 is a considerable amount of money to me, but making customers feel like they are worthless is more disrespectful in my opinion. We were almost to the point where we had given up, but decided to give it one last shot, and I’m glad we did because we got the AVENGERS! Brad Mims sits down (in his Captain America swag) with us and we begin to tell the story, but he already knows it because he was there when we purchased the phones, and he actually heard the manager tell us we qualified for the BOGO free. Brad calls Larry Miller over, and they begin to talk, at this point I have no confidence that something good would come of this, but I was wrong. Not to dismiss Mr. Miller, but I thought he was in charge however come to find out, he was just “Iron Man” he had a very important roll in the overall ending, but he simply was a part of the team. There was someone else in the back, a “Dr. Strange” of some sort, someone pulling the strings and reversing time; this individual later identified as Joy Thuggs.


    My wife and I never physically met Mrs. “Captain Marvel” Thuggs, but it’s obvious she possesses the power to reversed time, because just like that our problem was resolved with a credit to our account. My wife and I would like to personally thank you all for your outstanding customer service, and willingness to “Right” a “Wrong.” As for the other guy…Thanos, SNAP! Dust particles.

    My fiancé and I have been having trouble with our bill for months and months at a different AT&T. We were advised to come to this one on Union to talk about our issues. So, we took the time to drive to this particular store and spoke with an employee named Larry, who was very professional and very helpful. He really knew the ins and outs and suggested that we speak to his store manager, Joy.
    Joy knew that we would be by sometime and she is/was aware of the things going on with our account and our bill. We tried to come up here last week but when we got there, it turns out Joy left early and didn’t finish her shift. So we get back in the car and drive 30 minutes BACK home. So today, Saturday, we take off work and go back to the store because we were told that Joy would be there. We get inside, ask for Joy, the employee went to let her know and told us she would be right out, just a couple of minutes. So 10-15 minutes go by and I ask the employee if she knows about how much longer. The employee goes back to check, 3 minutes later, here comes Joy. This manager never sat down to talk with us or to listen to make sure she understood our main issues/problems. She stood over us and said “there’s nothing I can do here, you’ll have to go back to that other store”. We spent more time waiting for her to come out than she did talking to us. She had our phone number, she could’ve called and let us know that before we took the time to come to the store. Literally had 5 days to do that. As a manager, she was very rude and unprofessional. If she would have shown us more respect while we were there and acted like she cared about her customers rather than making us feel like we interrupted her doing whatever she was doing (there was nobody else in the store when we came in), maybe my review would’ve been a little bit different. As for Larry, AT&T needs more of him. He is the ONLY reason we haven’t canceled our plan with AT&T yet. Maybe they should promote him to store manager instead.

    This store has such wonderful employees who have for years seemed intentionally dedicated to creating a positive experience for their customers.
    A few years ago Michael helped my 82 year old mother feel capable transitioning from her large numbered “phone only” “Jitterbug” to her new smart phone. He very patiently spent a lot of time with her relieving her family from the task.
    The first picture she took was one of Michael and she has it to this day in her phone.
