As a service manager for a local auto dealer for the last 16 years, I recognize great service. It is rare these days in most professions, especially in cellular phone stores it seems.
I want to take a minute to tell you about “Derek” at this location (valley ranch). This young man took on my issue/concern as if it were his own problem. I felt like I was dealing with an owner or someone who had a much larger vested interest in this store than some-most likely commissioned, young man who wasn’t earning a dollar looking into my requests.
Derek spent a solid 30 minutes with me and tho my request was not met, I fully believe he did everything he could do to accommodate me including being personable and friendly with my child. Letting her have the remote to the stores tv because he could tell she was getting bored.
Derek’s effort was truly highlighted during my next 2 stops. The T-Mobil and Verizon stores. The T-mobile assistants at least acted like my request was valid but would not entertain my request for more than a moment. Verizon is a great example of what not to do to retain/earn a customer but that’s another story.
Anyway, once again to sum this up. I was extremely impressed with the way this young man carried himself and the entire interaction with me so much that I will be returning to him for my next phone line even tho he could not complete my request. Upper management needs to take notice of this young man and retain him for the good of your business. For everyone willing to leave a note like this, there are going to be many more satisfied customers who did not. Thanks for reading and good selling,

Worse experience ever at this location!! I walked into this location to ask about upgrading my phone to the iPhone 13 max and the employee was obviously trying to convince me to just do it on my app so that he wouldn’t have to be bothered with helping me!!!! If I wanted to do it all on my app I would have!! I came into the store for a reason!!! I had questions!! I wanted to talk to someone!!! When I tried asking him questions he made me feel stupid for asking!!! I then asked about bill discounts for first responders/ emergency personnel and he responded “ it is all on the app” I said “ can someone just help me with it, I don’t know how to add that through the app” again he smirked and looked at me like I was stupid!!! I have never been treated so horribly in my life!!!!!!! I just left without getting any help at all!!!! Whatever happened to customer service???? - March 27, 2021

Realizing this store had only recently opened, I read some reviews prior to my visit. Those reviews were not positive, but were also not correct as far as I can see. I came in to purchase a new Iphone 12Pro Max and the appropriate accessories upgrading from my 7. Derek welcomed me immediately, let me know he would serve me as soon as he finished setting something up for the current customer, then determined what I wanted and made every effort to ensure I got exactly what I was asking for. His service went above and beyond what I have experienced in the past, and was professional, friendly and appreciated. The other individual working at that point also appeared to exemplify the same standards in his dealings with those customers I saw him deal with. My experience in this store was phenomenal. Tony and Aaron were why I chose AT&T. They were able to get me deals that I couldn't even find online. They were not there just to sell, they were there to help. They helped me save a lot of money and they were very professional. I was able to get 5 new phones and home internet for a fraction of the price of the other companies. I shopped around and they were the best ones. This is the best AT&T store in Tx. Maria has been more help than anyone I have met with AT&T, she knows her stuff and was great and a ton of help.
